The Current Advances in Agricultural Sciences(CAAS) is one of the leading journals in the field of Agricultural and Allied Sciences including Agricultural Engineering and Home Science published by ‘The Society of Agricultural Professionals’, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. It is being published since 2009. Each volume covers 2 issues published half yearly in June and December. The journal welcomes concise articles presenting original research data based on field and laboratory experiments on all aspects of Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Engineering and Home Science in different areas, viz. cereals, pulses, oilseeds, commercial crops, fibre crops, fodder crops, spices, medicinal and aromatic crops, fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, as well as on organic farming, indigenous technology knowledge, agro-forestry, agri-horticulture, horti-pastoral, farming systems, integrated crop management, integrated pest management, integrated nutrient management, agricultural extension, agricultural economics, agricultural statistics, GIS, remote sensing, policy issues, etc. In the present shape, the journal considers both full length articles and short communications. Review articles from relevant fields are also welcomed for publication. With the inception of the journal, it has followed International norms and standards in respect of quality of articles with the adoption of guidelines and instructions for contributors, quality of paper used in printing, get up of the journal, etc. The journal will also be made available online shortly. Authors are encouraged to submit their articles through Email (sapjournal.kanpur@gmail.com) and a full-fledged online submission and review system as followed for most of the International journals will be introduced in coming years. The journal is indexed in the AGRIS published by the FAO; the Science Citation Index (SCI); Current Contents published by the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI); and Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI). On this basis, the journal has been accredited by ICAR and has awarded NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) Rating 2024: 4.73, , Google Scholar, CNKI Scholar, EBSCO Discovery, Agricola, Crossref..
