Abstract

Leaves of brinjal plant were treated with five concentrations of the leaves’ extract of Ricinus communis along with normal and infected leaves’ were taken after 72 hrs. for the estimation of chlorophyll content. Highest chlorophyll ‘a’ was recorded 0.656 mg/gm. with 3.0% concentration while chlorophyll ‘b’ was 0.409 mg/gm. and total chlorophyll content was 1.065 mg/gm. in comparison to normal 0.269, 0.356 & 0.625 mg/gm. and infected leaves i.e. 0.220, 0.322 and 0.541 mg/gm. Chlorophyll, respectively.
