Effect of Fenugreek Seed Powder on Fasting Blood Glucose Level Among Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Dhayani Asir, Dr. Appavu Santhi M. Sc. (N) Student, & Principal and HOD, Christian College of Nursing, Neyyoor, Kanyakumari District Online published on 6 December, 2016. Abstract A quasi experimental study was performed to assess the effectiveness of fenugreek seed powder in maintaining fasting blood glucose level among 30 NIDDM patients. Interrupted Time Series design with purposive sampling technique was used. They were on conventional treatmentfor 15 days and the same group was on intervention along with conventional treatment for next 15 days. The mean reduction of fasting blood glucose level with fenugreek seed powder along with conventional treatment't ’value is 2.71 (p<0.05) and concluded fenugreek seed powder was effective in reducing fasting blood glucose level among NIDDM patients.
