In literature few analytical methods are discussed for the estimation of Ramipril and Hydrochlorothiazide. The objective of this study is to develop and validate RP-HPLC method for the qualitative estimation of the drug. In most of the methods, the isocratic elution was carried out by using Acetonitrile, water and buffer as a mobile phase. The wavelength was in between 210 to 215nm for Ramipril and 316nm for Hydrochlorothiazide. The flow rate was approximately 0.8ml/min to 1.0ml/min. The temperature set was ambient temperature. The developed methods were validated as per ICH guidelines and this method were found to be specific, precise, sensitive and robustness.
