Abstract Behcets syndrome is a disease that involves inflammatory conditions of blood vessels and also other parts of the body including mouth, eye, skin, genitals etc. In this condition the body's immune system is found to be disturbed that is not commonly seen in people. The epidemiology of the disease is that it affects people who are in their 20s and 30s and the exact aetiology of the disease is unknown even by doctors. The various manifestations found are skin, vascular and GI lesions, arthritis, CNS involvement etc. The treatment focuses on relieving pain and preventing other serious problems experienced by these patients. This review article aims at describing the etiology, clinical features and the treatment modalities of Behçet's disease.
