Abstract

In this paper, new quality statistical hypothesis tests for fuzzy data with respect to membership grades of fuzzy set(s) using analysis of variance technique for analyzing the effect of factors of classification of a population are proposed. The F-test statistic for testing the hypothesis is defined on the grades of the membership grades of the fuzzy data for each individual observation of the random sample and also, the decision rules to be taken about the null hypothesis of the population are given. The solution procedures of the proposed techniques are presented using examples in Medical Management.
