Online published on 24 December, 2019. Abstract Eight Lactic Acid Bacteria isolates were detected after culturing for 24 dairy samples on MRS medium, and have white-cream color. Isolates were gram positive, rod-cooci shape after examined by microscope. All lactic acid bacterial isolates tested for production of bacteriocin, results showed that L4 isolate having most activity against S. aureus with inhibition zone (14 mm). L4 was identified when cultured on MRS media, it have colonies with white to creamy color and the microscopically test show rod shape bacteria, gram positive, and its negative for motility test. This features belong to Lactobacillus spp. The biochemical test showed the isolate was negative for catalase, indole, oxidase, coagulase. Antibacterial activity of L4 was tested by well diffusion method against S.aureus, E.coli, and P. auroginosa. The result showed that L4 having greatest antibacterial activity with (14mm) inhibition zone. against S.aureus, 12 mm inhibition zone against E. coli, and 10 mm inhibition zone against P. auroginosa.
