Online published on 24 December, 2019. Abstract Recently, simulation has begun to play an important role in medical education in the Arab world. As a tool for converting knowledge and theoretical information into a practical exercise, simulation also develop the skills of trainees in the absence of direct contact with patients. The development of paramedic profession and the expanding of paramedic responsibilities stressed the need for simulation as effective solution for teaching paramedics and improve their skills. It helps them learn in a safe environment and practice repeatedly without harming real patients. This review of literature discusses the using of simulation in medical and paramedical education, its difficulties, and different techniques that can be used.
