Online published on 8 August, 2019. Abstract The present study conduct to investigate probable changes in coagulation factors in male rats with induced chronic renal failure (CRF). Adenine (50 mg/kg BW) was injected intraperitoneally to 18 male rats to induce CRF and divided equally and randomly in to three groups as following: Control positive group in which CRF rats where fed with normal diet, Second group was fed with diet supplemented with Tomato powder at level 10% while animal of third group were fed with Tomato at level 20%. In addition to above mention groups sex animals introduce as control negative group and injected with DMSO only and fed with normal diet. All treatment are extended to 28 days. At the end of experiment blood was collected via heart puncture and the following (KIM-1, Creatinine, urea Fibrinogen, Factor VII, Factor VIII) was measured the result reveled present significant increase in all studied parameters in rats with induced CRF in compare with other group. In the other hand Tomato powder caused significant reduction in above mentions parameter, (in dose depended manner). Top Keywords Adenine, Renal failure, coagulation factor, KIM-1. Top | |
