Abstract

This study shows the potential effect of EGCG in DCM induced rats by exerting anti-hyperglycemic, antihyperlipidemic and anti-fibrotic effects. Hence EGCG a natural occurring compound have important clinical implications in terms of prevention and progression of diabetic cardiomyopathy.
