Abstract A heuristic statisticalmethod for testing intuitionistic fuzzy hypotheses of onefactor and two factor ANOVA model using intuitionistic fuzzy data samples is proposed. In this method, the decision rules to accept or reject the null and alternative hypotheses are given.
