Background All conventional risk factors are significantly associated with the risk of coronary artery disease (CAD). Tobacco use also an conventional risk, Current smoking >10 cigarettes or beedi per day is associated with a significant increase in the risk of heart attack. Method cross-sectional analysis was conducted on saveetha dental college using post graduates students. Using Centres for Disease Control and Prevention growth charts to determine percentage. 20 questionnaires was prepared for 100 post graduates students to conclude the awareness about conventional risk factor among dental professionals. Conclusion 87.5% of the post graduates had awareness about conventional risk factors. Top |
