A self-prepared questionnaire comprising of 10 standard questions was distributed among the 22 patients wearing temporary partial denture(TPD). Survey participants wereasked about their chewing satisfaction on preferable food, preferable time of wearing and speech before and after wearing TPD.

The highest average grade is given for speech with TPD is (3.7), the most of the people liked wearing denture the whole day(59.1)and most of them preferred eating non-vegetarian food (86.4%). The grade given for chewing efficiency of soft food consistency after prosthesis is (4.73) and for hard food after prosthesis is (4.36). Statistically chewing efficiency after prosthesis is highly significant (P≤.01).

Patients were mostly satisfied with their removable partial dentures, which were evaluated as satisfactory by dentist. Patients chewing efficiency is been improved after prosthesis and food preference has not affected there chewing efficiency. Patients find little difficultly during speech and most of patients wear the denture entire day.

Speech after prosthesis, chewing efficiency, soft consistency food, hard consistency food.
