Online published on 26 April, 2017. Abstract The ethnopharmacological study of Baiga Tribe of Madhya Pradesh reveals that Flacourtia indica syn. F. ramontchi fruit is used to cure liver disorders and its bark is used to cure malerialfever. In order to establish rationale behind ethnopharmacological uses online database namely Pub Med, Google Scholar and online journals on medicinal plants were searched thoroughly to know phytochemical and pharmacological profiles of plant. Ethnomedicinal uses were corroborated with chemical and biological activities. An attempt is made to check authenticity and validity of herbal drug on the basis of reported research work.
