Online published on 24 October, 2018. Abstract The ethnopharmacological study of Baiga Tribe of Madhya Pradesh reveals that aqueous decoction of Vicoa indica is used arthritis and rheumatism. In order to establish rationale behind ethnopharmacological uses online database namely Pub Med, Google Scholar and online journals on medicinal plants were searched thoroughly to know its ethnomedicinal, phytochemical and pharmacological profiles of plant. Ethnomedicinal uses were corroborated with chemical and biological activities. An attempt is made to check authenticity and validity of herbal drug on the basis of reported research work.
