Online published on 3 February, 2020. Abstract The present research work was undertaken to study the Self-Efficacy among secondary school students. The study was conducted on a sample of 576 students of 9th class selected from rural and urban schools of Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. Self-Efficacy scale by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh and Dr. Shruti Narain was used. The data was analyzed by statistical techniques t-test and Karl Pearson's Product Moment Correlation (r). The findings of the study revealed that there is no significant difference in the Self-efficacy among male and female secondary school students. There is a significant impact of Self-efficacy on academic achievement of secondary school students.
