Study of Carbonation in Concrete in Presence Mineral Admixture by Experimental Investigation Khan Aamir* M.E. Structural Engineering, BIT, Durg, Chhattisgarh, India *Corresponding Author Email: aamir7774@gmail.com
Online published on 29 October, 2015. Abstract This paper study the carbonation process in concrete when cement is replace by mineral admixture (Fly ash, Met kaolin), class-C type fly ash replace cement by 30wt% and 40wt% and Met kaolin is 10wt% and 15wt% replace cement. Compressive strength, water absorption and carbonation test were perform. The laboratory test result shows that compressive strength, percentage of fly ash content in concrete and water absorption capacity of concrete effect the carbonation of concrete. Top Keywords Carbonation, Fly Ash, Metakaolin, Water Absorption. Top | |
