Abstract In the present study the effects of thermal radiation, heat source and magnetic Prandtl number on heat and mass transfer in mixed convection MHD flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid over a vertical porous plate taking into account the induced magnetic field has been analyzed. The plate is subjected to a constant suction velocity. The expression for the velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction and induced magnetic, coefficient of rate of heat and mass transfer in term of Nusselt number and Sherwood number at the plate are obtained in non-dimensional form. Numerical value of velocity, temperature, skin friction and induced magnetic field for different value of the parameters involved in the problem are expressed through the graphs and table. The results are discussed in detail. Top Keywords Magnetic Prandtl number, Induced magnetic field, Radiation, Heat Source. Top |
