Abstract Welding is the metal bonding process in which two or more metals with the same or different materials can be joined by heating to a plastic state. It is mainly used for metals in the process industry, in the manufacture, maintenance, repair of parts and constructions. The metal plates and pipes used in the process industry and have the welding power as their important parameter. In this paper, the welding speed and geometry will be performed to detect tensile strength and impact resistance at main joints. For the V-track geometry, various platform models with different angles from 350, 450, 500 can be manufactured from steel construction (A633 Grade E). At present, the various welding speeds are used in precision welding applications, such as nuclear reactor pressure vessels, boilers, etc., where the precision and quality of welding is an important parameter. Therefore, the experiment will be carried out at different welding speeds such as 0.4 cm/s, 0.8 cm/sec and 1.20 cm/sec to prepare a V-bar welding. Generally, the V-groove geometry with included angle is up to 600 in use. Top Keywords Welding, Aluminium, TIG welding, structural material, turning, electro slag. Top |
