We have studied some basic parameters here and almost all of them vary linearly with the variation in Bi content. This makes them suitable for phase change optical recording devices. So these chalcogenide materials find easy applications in rewritable optical recording devices. In the present work, we have studied the effect on the physical properties with the variation in Bi content for Ge10BixSe80-xSn10 (x=2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 at.%) chalcogenide glasses. Top Keywords Chalcogenide Glasses, Average Coordination Number, Mean bond Energy, Glass Transition Temperature. Top |
