Online published on 3 November, 2011. Abstract Several monoterpenic and sesquiterpenic ethers of aromatic oximes have been synthesized and bioassayed against different insects including termites, mosquitoes and bugs. High toxicity was also elicited against Odontotermes brunneus sp. Typical JH effects including inhibition of egg hatching and effects on larval, nymphal stages were observed in case of Aedes aegypti and Dysdercus koenigii.
