A Study on Managerial Effectiveness and Job Satisfaction of The Employees of Organized Retail Sector in NCR Chaudhary Rashmi1, Srivastava Binkey2 1Research Scholar, Mewar University 2Associate Professor, KIET, Ghaziabad Online published on 17 February, 2017. Abstract This study is intended to see the effect of managerial effectiveness on job satisfaction and to determine the level of managerial effectiveness and job satisfaction among the employees of organized retail sector of NCR. It is a causal research design which tries to determine the cause underlying a given behavior. It was undertaken to study the prevailing status of job satisfaction and managerial effectiveness of the employees of the organized retail sector in NCR. The main feature of the study is the highlight of the effect of managerial effectiveness on job satisfaction of organized retail sector in NCR. The data was collected from managerial level and operating level employees of 21 shopping malls from 7 districts of NCR using multistage random sampling technique. The data was collected by using psychological scales of managerial effectiveness and job satisfaction. The results of the present study imply that the subordinates of the managers whose managerial effectiveness is at high level are more satisfied with their job as compared to the subordinates of the managers whose managerial effectiveness is at low level. The data was analyzed with the help of ‘t’ test which shows that managerial effectiveness has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of organized Retail Sector in NCR.
