Abstract

An analysis of 74 papers presented at “Content to Connectivity: Paradigm Shifts in Knowledge Innovation, Information Representation, Information Management Systems and Librarianship” organized by TECNIA Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) and Satija Research Foundation For Library And Information Sciences (SRFLIS) on April 11–12, 2014 at Delhi indicates that about half of the papers were authored by single authors and rest were written in co-authorship. Only a small proportion of papers were co-authored. Most of the co-authored papers were presented by scholars from the schools of library and information science. Of all the authors about one-fourth were women scholars. Among all the contributing institutions, Department of Library and Information Science of the University of Delhi ranked first. Indian authors cite journals originating from USA and UK as compared to Indian journals.
