Information Support in Combating Fatal Superstitions in Rural Society

Abstract

This paper carefully examines newspaper reports on various untested preconceptions prevailing among marginalized sections of people and others in the form of numerous magical practices. Explains on how the sentiments of the group members are exploited to achieve vested interests of the few by blaming and punishing innocent fellows through black magic. Emphasizes to unearth the main causes and motives behind the social unjust and categories the causes. Suggestions are made to uproot those evil practices by means of scientific information support.
