Abstract The paper discusses the concept of marketing, need for marketing of knowledge products and services in Libraries in the present context, the activities which can be undertaken for marketing; different products which become financial resource generators for Libraries. The ways and means of promotion; different methods of generation of finances in Libraries, and some examples of charges collected for knowledge products and services are given and methods of price estimations for different services and products are discussed.
