The sudden emergence of the infection demanding closure of educational institutions did spark significant anxiety for students, teachers and parents alike regarding syllabus completion and conducting examinations. In these pressing times, E-Learning is the invention that brings education closer to us. Although E-learning poses several challenges in the method of instruction and assessment, it does bring with it various advantages. In this review, we explore several methods by which educational institutions can continue to meet the needs of their students despite social distancing and their benefits as compared to conventional teaching.
