Even though Use of ozone is initiated very early in therapeutics but it is most under-rated therapy. Bringing ozone therapy in veterinary therapeutics will have additional benefit as it requires minimum invasive procedure and also promotes analgesia. It reduces inflammation and disinfects with oxygen. Ozone therapy can be applied by different routes of administration such as parenteral and topical except inhalation which initiate systemic, regional or topical effects. Application of ozone in therapeutics is mainly depends upon its dosage, concentration, length of exposure, and the antioxidant capacity of the tissue exposed. No wonder in coming days it may gain popularity because of affordability, simplicity and most importantly wide applicability as an adjuvant therapy in veterinary science.
