Synthesis of quinoline derivatives and substituted homophthalic acids for use in flotation of low grade ores

Abstract

The paper deals with the synthesis and characterization of some of the quinoline derivatives with chelating functional groups (with N-N and N-Cl donor atoms) as collector for concentration of low grade ores by froth flotation. Syntheses of substituted homophthalic acids (O-O donor atoms) are also reported.
