The effect of module temperature and incident irradiance on generation of power by CdTe technology based PV modules has been studied by drawing contour graphs. Seasonal performance has also been studied to find out the most frequent conditions (MFC) at the site in terms of irradiance and module temperature. It is found that PR of CdTe technology is mainly governed by module temperature and most of the time, the hourly averaged PR of CdTe technology at composite climate zone of India is in the range 0.8 to 0.9.
