Online published on 27 December, 2021. Abstract Data for the present study was gathered from the Scopus database and biblioshiny app for bibliometrics from R Statistical Package used to carry out word cloud analysis. The objective was to identify whether the scope and objectives of the journal will meet the publication or not and to find out the major topics over the decade in the library and information science field. The five journals were selected which include DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (n=496), Journal of Academic Librarianship (n=835), Journal of Librarianship and Information Science (n=389). Journal of Library Administration (n=545), and Library Hi Tech (n=885). Only journal articles were considered and retrieved from the Scopus database from the year 2011 to 2020. Each journal has its scope and objectives respectively. The word clouds showed each journal's major topic of interest. This study proved that all the five selected journals have their interests and found different topics. All the five journals have the common topic like Management, research, technology, librarianship, knowledge, digital, services, international, reference, organization, bibliography, and academic after excluding common words like Library, Science, Journal, and Information. The study covered only ten years of journal articles only and future studies may be done with all years and with all sources of publications.
