Abstract Women age 21–69 were subjected to pap smear for early detection of cervical cancer the objective of the study to determine the diagnostic efficacy of pap smear among women. Quantitative research approach was used, with cross sectional research design was used. Convenient sampling technique was used. The result shows that pap smear sensitivity 100%, specificity 95%, false negative rate o% and false positive rate 0.04%. Top Keywords Diagnostic efficacy, Pap smear and Cervical cancer. Top |
