A Note on Seasonal Variations in Oxalate Content of Napier Bajra Hybrid Singh Ajaib Department of Plant Breeding (Forages), Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana-141 004, India Abstract The mean oxalate content (%) of napier bajra hybrid (PNB-233) at one metre height from April to August was 2.84±0.50. The highest concentration of oxalic acid was in the month of June. The relative proportion of soluble and insoluble oxalates remained constant during this period but at one and two metre height, the per cent proportion of soluble oxlate was 28.60 and 38.30, respectively.
