Abstract Generally, the elections will be conducted at every place to elect the leader to rule for certain period of time. In India, for every 5 years the parliament, state and local elections will be taken place, as per Indian Constitution. Presently, Indian election commission is using EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) tool for local, state and parliament elections. It is implemented in the year 1999 [1]. EVM is more advanced compare to older voting system (Paper ballots). However, there are some limitations in EVM like tamparability, which makes confusion for the people to cast vote. The proposed OVM (Online/Offline Voting Machine) modelis completely different compare to EVM. Also, it is an easiest and better way to the people to cast vote. If the election commission implement this tool in future there would be many more advantages and the polling percentage will grew.
