Abstract This paper aims to study the impact of managerial ethics on the organizational trust of the managers of female senior high schools. The method of the study is applied in terms of the purpose, and survey-descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population of this study consists of all 1055 managers of female senior high schools in 2015–16 in 19 districts of Tehran, of which 280 people were selected as sample size using random cluster sampling and Morgan table. In order to collect data, we used standard managerial ethics questionnaires from Ismaeili Tarzi et al (2013) and organizational trust from Ellonen et al (2008). After collecting the questionnaires, the data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using the structural equation modeling method and the software Smart PLS 2 in both measurement model and structural sections. In the first section, the technical features of the questionnaires including reliability, convergent validity and divergent validity specified for PLS were studied. In the second section, the significance coefficients of the software were used to study the hypotheses. The results indicated that managerial ethics and its components affect the organizational trust of the managers of female senior high schools of 19 districts of Tehran.
