Modified Bacterial Foraging Optimization (MBFO) to Improve Quality of Experience in LTE Networks Dr. Franklin J. Vijay, Kumar K. Sathis Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode, India Online published on 2 August, 2016. Abstract This paper deals with the quality of experience (QoE) based optimization technique to enhance the performance of the resource utilization in LTE networks. This approach minimizes the constraints in the adaptation of resources in environment. Modified BFO uses the constraint handling algorithm to improve the interactions among the bacteria. The complexities of the Bacterial foraging optimization are reduced by minimizing the number of parameters used in the algorithm. In LTE networks the quality of experience is major parameter to describe the completeness of the communication. It faces many challenges in terms of quality policies. The QoS parameters requires an efficient optimization technique to refine the efficiency of the transmission. Bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) requires further refinement to enhance its capability over high dense user environment. The quality polices and resource management are generated to meet the Quality of Experience. In this paper analyses issues and solutions for the enhancement of QoE based on modified BFO.
