FTIR, NMR were used for structural characterization of polyol. Also TGA and DSC were used for the thermal properties determinations. The polyurethanes were obtained using reactions between polyol and isophorone diisocynate in various OH: NCO molar ratios which were applied on mild steel panels and glass plates coating purpose. The coating properties of polyurethanes were determined by gloss, cross cut adhesion, corrosion by emersion test in HCl, NaCl, NaOH and Water.
