The diamine was synthesized from p-aminoacetanilide in the presence of glacial acetic acid, boric acid and sodium perboratetetrahydrate. The product obtained was characterized by Elemental analysis, 1H NMR, and IR. The diamine and Schiff bases were further screened for antibacterial studies.
