Abstract We have an attempt to the synthesis of benzimidazoles by treatment of phenylenediamine with boric acid in water at 120°C in the presence of nanocatalyst, Fe2O3 (5 mol%). Initially, we studied the structure and morphology of as prepared nanocatalyst using XRD, FTIR and SEM. Further, the synthesis of benzimidazoles and their derivatives using Fe2O3. Top Keywords Fe2O3, hydrothermal, nanoflakes and benzimidazoles. Top |
