5-Aryl-5, 6-dihydro-1-methyl-3-propyl-1H-pyrazolo[4, 3-d]pyrimidin-7(4H)-ones (2a-e) were synthesized by the condensation of 4-amino-1-methyl-3-propyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide with different aldehydes using microwave irradiation. All title compounds were characterized by 1H NMR and mass spectra. Molecular docking of 5cox with ligand showed that the title compound was a potent anti-inflammatory compound.
