Abstract Ambiguity and role conflict of employees in most organizations is an inevitable issue, but organizations need leaders to resolve the ambiguity in the role assigned to the staff. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between total quality management (leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, human resource focus, information analysis, process management) and the stress factors of role (conflict and ambiguity). The population of the study consisted of 120 personnel of the National Broadcasting Company Petroleum in Lorestan. 96 of them have been selected Using a simple random sampling and Morgan Table. The research methodology was Descriptive- correlational and data collection instrument was a 30-item questionnaire and its reliability was calculated as 0.073 sing Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation test. The results show that, there is a relationship between the Variables of focus on the customer, data analysis, strategic planning and management process and the stress factors of employees’ role. However, there is no a relationship between the focus on human resource and leadership with the stress factors of employees’ role.
