Abstract Online shopping is rapidly changing the life of young adults. Young adults are setting the trend of the nation. E-shopping has bought new paradigm shift in shopping. E-shopping provides additional value to the customers in terms of time, energy and money. Young adults are open to many brands, products and services. E-shopping holds numerous products to cater their needs and even more. They are offered with better products at a relatively lower price in small time. The researcher aims to study the preference towards e-shopping among young adults in Erode district (Tier III City). This proposes to increase researchers’ understanding of consumers’ preference toward online shopping and their intention to shop on the Internet.
