It has enormous biological potential due to their privileged structure and is able to undergo various chemical reactions which make researcher more comfortable in drug designing. The stability of thiadiazole nucleus has inspired medicinal chemist to carryout various structural variations in the ring. This review highlights the pharmacological activity of recently synthesized Schiff bases and fused ring systems comprising1, 3, 4-thiadiazole moiety.
