Early detection and prevention may be a present remedy but not the case with malignant solid tumours. It can be treated by chemo, radiation and immune therapy now a day which may prolong the lifespan on the cancer patients. This dreadful disease affects the daily day to day life of the patient, as they cannot do their routine works which may also affect their socio economic status. The government is taking numerous steps like awareness program, free diagnostic techniques and chemotherapy for the poor patients, to prevent and to treat cancer in the earlier stage of diagnosis. For the advanced stage of the cancers only palliative treatment can be given which majorly affects and have poor impact on the socio-economic status of the patients. Current scenario shows more preventive steps than the treatment strategies which may improve the life style of the patients and not affect their status in the society.
