Online published on 27 April, 2021. Abstract Objective To assess the knowledge of adolescent group regarding hazards of tobacco consumption. To provide an information module on the basis of knowledge regarding tobacco consumption and its hazards. To assess the effectiveness of the structured teaching program on knowledge regarding prevention of tobacco consumption. To assess pre-test knowledge score regarding prevention of tobacco consumption among younger. To assess the post-test knowledge score regarding of tobacco consumption among the younger. Method Quantitative approach was use with one group pre test and post test design. The investigator used simple random sampling technique selecting the 40 sample. A structured knowledge questionnaire was prepared to assess the knowledge of the sample. The data obtain were analyzed and interpreted in the light of objective and hypnosis using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Result The mean pre test knowledge score was 12.52 and post test knowledge was with 19.22 mean difference 6.7. It proves that the effectiveness of the structured teaching programme.
