Abstract This study examined the relationship between Parenting style and Self-esteem among under graduate students. The study has been carried out on a sample of 90 students (45 males and 45 females). Two instruments were used in the study Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) to determine the perceived parenting styles and Rosenberg Self-esteem scale to determine the level of self-esteem. Pearson product correlation was used to see the relationship between parenting styles and Self-esteem.
