This paper is an attempt to examine the extent of feminization of agriculture in Karnataka: issues and concerns. The present paper tries to examine the agriculture is a source of living for many people in our country. Women due to various reasons are depending on agriculture. This has very serious macro and micro implications. In order to improve the situation and to address the concerns of women in agriculture gender mainstreaming is absolutely necessary. It is observed that, the government sponsored schemes are having very gradual positive impact on feminization of Agriculture in Karnataka. Top | | | |
