A systematic survey was conducted to study the launal composition of scarabaeids damaging rose in and around Bangalore (Karnataka) during 1998–99. Thirteen species of scarabaeids were recorded on rose from different parts of Bangalore. They were identified to their respective genera and sub families, four genera under sub family Melolonthinae, three under Rutelinae and three under Cetoniinae. A brief description of adults, their distribution and host range are given for each species.
