Abstract

In the present paper, kinetic Fokker-Planck type models for vehicular traffic and the transition to the corresponding macroscopic and microscopic system of equations are considered from a numerical point of view. Using formal derivations and suitable rescaling of the equations, numerical results are compared on all three levels of description.
