The major objective of this study was to find out the main and interaction effect of religiosity, self-efficacy and sex on marriage readiness and its components The sample of current study consisted of 150 male and 150 female college students. from Kozhikode and Malappuram districts with an age range between 18–29 years The data were collected using. Self-Efficacy Scale, Religiosity Scale (Revised), and Marital Readiness Scale. Three-way ANOVA and t test were carried out for hypothesis testing. The results of this study revealed that there was a significant difference between high and low religiosity in Psychological readiness, financial readiness, readiness due to significant others and overall marriage readiness. There was a significant difference between high and low self-efficacy in moral readiness for marriage. There was a significant sex difference in financial readiness for marriage.. Males had shown greater financial readiness than females. Results also indicated.there was a significant interaction between religiosity and self-efficacy on financial readiness for marriage. It was also found that there was a significant interaction between religiosity and self-efficacy on overall marriage readiness.
