The aim of this investigation is to determine the influence of stage of maturity on seed yield and quality obtained from berries harvested at different maturity stages in cherry tomato var. Pusa Cherry Selection -1. This research experiment was carried during autumn-summer season of 2011–12 and 2012–13 at CPCT, IARI, New Delhi. Fifteen berries were harvested at ten days interval starting from 15, 25, 35, 45, 55 and 65 days after anthesis (DAA). The results mentioned that fruit weight, number of seeds per berry, seed yield per berry, germination, seedling length, dry weight, vigour index I & II, electrical conductivity and total soluble solids were significantly different among the structures & stage of harvest. Majority of seed of seed yield and quality traits were significantly higher in semi-controlled environmental polyhouse (P1) followed by P2. Significant increase was noticed 15DAA to 65DAA for berry weight, seed yield per berry and quality traits. The information among the structures & stage of harvest were significantly different for most of traits except root length and germination%.
